The Background
Mr. Uday Parekh and Mrs. Manisha Mehta together started a consulting firm Pioneer
Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. in 1990. They have been involved in the design and
implementation of commercial software packages and have provided consulting services
in the areas of Local Area Networking, Wide Area Networks, Internet Application development,
Database Management, Designing, Development and marketing of Software,
Web Designing etc. In 1998, Pioneer Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. handed over all its
software operations to Prominent, which is a proprietary firm headed by Mrs. Manisha Mehta.
