The System is developed with the aim of having on-line information of the milk procurement and inventory position. Being a highly perishable commodity such information is of utmost importance to aid the ideal decision making at the management level. The Surat district Co-operative Milk Producers Union Ltd. has about 5000 employees and procures and distributes around 12 crore Kgs. of milk annually. It procures milk from 913 milk co-operative socities. We have developed a multi-user environment using Foxbase, Foxpro 2.5, Windows NT platform. The system consists of two main modules.
1. Milk Procurement and Distribution System
